Terms of Service

These terms apply to TextePal, a text message service operated by SiteloopAI LLC. By texting TextePal you agree to them.

The service

TextePal helps parents and guardians find kids' activities such as sports, classes and camps. You text a request and we reply with options and links to the provider's own website. TextePal is free for parents.

SMS Terms

• Program name: TextePal.
• How you join: by sending a text message to the TextePal number, or by entering your number at textepal.com/start and agreeing to these terms. After that we only reply to messages you send us, plus reminders and weekly texts you ask for (see below).
• Message frequency: varies, based on how many requests you send.
• Reminders (only if you ask): reply REMIND after a search and we text you when new signups for it open, or REMIND and an option's number (like REMIND 2) to watch just that program. At most one reminder a day. Reply SEASONS for a heads-up when each season's signups start, about 4 messages a year. Reply REMINDERS OFF to stop reminders and keep using TextePal.
• Weekly text (only if you say yes): reply YES when we offer it, or text WEEKLY, and we text you once a week (Thursday afternoon) with new kids' activities and events near you. No good news that week, no text. Reply MONTHLY for the first Thursday of each month only, or WEEKLY OFF to stop.
• Cost: TextePal is free. Message and data rates may apply from your mobile carrier.
• Opt out: reply STOP at any time. You will get one message confirming you are opted out and no more messages after that. Reply START to join again.
• Help: reply HELP, or email support@siteloopai.com.
• Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Who can use it

You must be 18 or older and the account holder of the phone you text from, or have the account holder's permission.

Beta and waitlist

TextePal is in beta and open to a limited number of families at a time. When the beta is full, a new number is added to a waitlist and gets one text with its place in line, and one more when a spot opens. An invite code from a current member (like JOIN-K7Q) skips the waitlist; each member can share a code with up to 2 friends. Reply STOP at any time to leave the waitlist.

Information accuracy

TextePal uses AI to read public provider websites. Programs, prices, schedules and availability change and our replies may contain mistakes. Always confirm details with the provider before you register or pay. We do not run, endorse or guarantee any provider or program, and we are not responsible for your dealings with them.

Fair use

Do not use TextePal to send spam, abusive content, or anything unlawful. We may limit the number of messages per day and may stop service to anyone who misuses it.

Liability

TextePal is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the extent allowed by law, SiteloopAI LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

Changes

We may update these terms. The current version is always at textepal.com/terms.
